Classes for High School, grades 9-12, are held on the Clinton Rd. Campus. There is a combination of single grade and multi-grade classrooms in order to create a healthy social environment for the students. Students change classes for various subjects. Core classes are offered along with higher math and science options such as Calculus and Physics. Spanish I-IV are available as their foreign language option. Electives include Band, Choir, Psychology, and various other courses. Students also participate in Bible classes, weekly chapel services, and missions experiences. Clubs and leadership opportunities are also available including Student Council, National Honor Society, Newspaper Club, Debate Club, and others.
Our curriculum not only meets the Ohio Academic Content Standards set forth by the Ohio Department of Education, but exceeds them. Through programming with Ohio Christian University, our high school students are eligible to participate in dual-credit programming where they can earn credit for both high school and college simultaneously. The college classes are often fully funded by the state of Ohio, giving a competitive and economic advantage to those students enrolled in the program. All students who have been tested thus far have been accepted by passing all placement exams.
